* Traditional Scottish heavy athletic events tossing the caber, the Scottish hammer throw, sheaf tossing and stone
* Highland dancing and Scottish country dancing, the timeless tradition of Gaelic Mod singing and poetry and Celtic Harps
Shop for Celtic wares including pottery, jewelry, tartans, Scottish food, and, of course, kilts!
Feast on traditional Scottish foods, snacks and desserts from Gaelic Imports!
Visit the Clan tents to explore the history and genealogy of Scotland's families.
Enjoy the Children's Games, the Massed Bands (hundreds of pipers and drummers at once!), Scottish-breed dog exhibits, Pittsburgh Scottish Country Dancers and Celtic performers from all over the world!
Living History Representing Scottish military units, some of which served in the Pittsburgh region 250 years ago during the French and Indian Wars. Units attending this year include:
Cataran Society (1745 Jacobite era)
42nd Regiment of Foot - The Black Watch (French and Indian War era)
42nd Highland Regiment (World War One era)
51st Highland Regiment (World War Two era)
2nd Battalion Scots Guard (1980's and 90's era)

Scottish livestock! Come and see the Highland Cows from Bill & Terrie Springer of Spring Run Farms in Mill Run. And the Shetland Ponies of Nancy Uhron from Simple Blessings Farm and Personal Ponies.
The Ceilidh follows at 7:00 pm at the Ramada Greensburg. Tickets available: order with this form!
And on Sunday, September 27th there will be a Scottish church service at 10:45 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Ligonier, followed by a free concert on the Diamond downtown Ligonier at 1:00 PM in the Gazebo with the Seton Hill University Pipe Band.
